Role Summary
The Account Manager will be instrumental in driving growth by nurturing existing partnerships and identifying new opportunities. Working closely with the Operations Manager, this individual will manage and refine partner relationships, ensure smooth account operations, and provide market-driven insights to support business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Account Management & Growth – Maintain and optimise partner accounts, ensuring strong relationships, operational efficiency, and maximised performance.
* Business Development – Identify and pursue growth opportunities that align with company objectives, such as identifying new partners and lenders.
* Partner Engagement – Serve as a trusted point of contact for partners, providing updates, insights, and proactive support.
* Market Intelligence – Research market trends, competitor activity, translating findings into actionable strategies.
* Opportunity Spotting – Recognise and act on opportunities to expand our network of partners and lenders while enhancing existing account performance.
* Briefing & Preparation – Prepare concise, data-driven crib sheets to support strategic partner calls.
* Performance Reporting – Compile and deliver regular reports highlighting performance metrics and actionable recommendations.
Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in account management or a similar commercial role within financial services or a fast-paced industry.
* Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to turn insights into commercially viable outcomes.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proficiency in data analysis, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
* Comfortable in a performance-driven environment with high expectations.
