KS1 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from September 2026 The inspection report highlights a caring and inclusive primary environment where pupils feel safe, supported, and encouraged to develop positive attitudes to learning. This KS1 Teacher role offers a full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing opportunity starting in September 2026. The KS1 Teacher will play a key role in delivering engaging and well-structured teaching that supports pupils during a vital stage of their learning journey. This role is ideal for a dedicated KS1 Teacher who enjoys creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment and supporting children to build strong foundations in learning. Duties as KS1 Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development Use assessment to monitor progress and inform teaching Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities Promote positive behaviour, routines, and independence Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and staff Support transitions within Key Stage 1 Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times Ideal KS1 Teacher: Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development Confident classroom and behaviour management skills Creative, patient, and nurturing teaching approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable and committed to a long-term role Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Why Step Teachers?
