What You're Going to Do
* Financial Leadership: Full responsibility for P&L, annual budgets and performance targets. Drive revenue growth across all streams, including sponsorship and ancillary income.
* Operational Excellence: Deliver best‑in‑class guest experience, venue management and production. Oversee contractors and ensure smooth event delivery.
* Partnership & Content Development: Build strong relationships with promoters, sponsors and stakeholders. Support content development across music, comedy and sports.
* Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high‑performing team. Ensure staff training meets AEG’s best‑in‑class standards.
* Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe environment and meet all licensing, health & safety obligations. Oversee security and building infrastructure with Facilities teams.
* Sustainability: Work with AEG’s sustainability team to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing events in a high‑profile venue.
* Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowering teams.
* Track record of delivering successful events and P&L results.
* Excellent industry network and negotiation skills.
* Experience liaising with licensing bodies, emergency services and government agencies.
* Solid background in venues risk management.

Location: You will be based at the venue in Olympia. You need to be available to work evenings and weekends at events. We offer flexible start and end times and welcome flexible working conversations.
We will give you a thorough induction on how we work at AEG, along with training in our systems, policies and procedures so that you will be set up for success.
