Central Employment is working with an established Digital Creative Agency, seeking to appoint a Technical SEO Specialist.
Role Overview:
The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the search engine landscape, capable of developing and executing effective campaigns, and driving link-building initiatives to enhance organic search rankings.
Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their needs, and deliver tailored SEM strategies to meet their goals and drive results.
2. Plan, execute, and monitor SEM campaigns across various search engines and platforms.
3. Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify relevant search terms and opportunities for optimisation.
4. Optimise ad copy and landing pages to maximise click-through and conversion rates.
5. Perform link audits and analysis to identify and resolve potential issues with client link profiles.
6. Regularly audit our website to identify technical issues impacting search engine rankings.
7. Develop and implement strategies to optimise website structure, page speed, and other technical SEO aspects.
8. Collaborate with developers to ensure website code is search-engine friendly and adheres to best practices.
9. Monitor website performance metrics and leverage data to inform decisions.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in technical SEO and search engine algorithms.
11. Work with the marketing team to integrate SEO with other channels like social media and content marketing.
Experience Required:
* At least 2 years’ experience, preferably within an agency environment.
* Experience in SEM and SEO.
* Experience in a client-facing role.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Moz, SEMrush, and Google Analytics.
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development technologies is advantageous.
