The Role
Staffline is recruiting a Production Supervisor on behalf of Avondale Foods. The successful candidate will support the management team in achieving maximum production efficiency and product quality, ensuring full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage a team of production operatives while maintaining high standards of performance, safety and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
7. Allocate and supervise staff across production lines to achieve daily targets
8. Ensure production records, packaging, labelling and stock rotation are accurate and compliant
9. Maintain adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene procedures
10. Oversee departmental systems including AX, Autocoding and Sparc
11. Resolve quality or process issues efficiently
12. Manage performance and attendance issues at ground level, escalating where appropriate
13. Sign off departmental training and ensure audit-readiness at all times
Person Specification
Essential:
14. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Production Supervisor within a food manufacturing environment
15. Strong understanding of food safety, quality control and production processes
16. Basic level of written and spoken English
17. Computer literate
Desirable:
18. Health & Safety certification
19. Level 2 Food Safety qualification
