Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 6) - Inpatient Team
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our inpatient team at Franklyn Hospital, Exeter. Applications will be considered for both full-time and part-time roles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess and treat a specialist caseload of clients within the OPMH inpatient setting.
2. Act as a clinical OT within the service, ensuring effective planning and delivery, and manage a small team.
3. Supervise OT and OTA staff within Rougemont Ward to a high standard.
4. Contribute to developing a high-quality, 7-day occupational therapy service through clinical governance frameworks, including audits.
5. Provide professional advice and expertise to the Rougemont Ward multidisciplinary team.
6. Report operational and professional issues to the Ward Manager and OT Lead.
About Rougemont Ward:
Rougemont Ward is a 16-bedded acute psychiatric ward for older adults, providing high-quality care for those with complex health needs and functional illnesses. The Senior OT role is dynamic and rewarding, involving active participation in MDT processes, providing advice, and supporting comprehensive OT assessments to inform patient care.
