About The Role
A well-established FMCG manufacturing company in the Teesside area is seeking a skilled Production Engineer with strong electrical expertise. The successful candidate will support production operations, ensuring machinery and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery.
* Support mechanical and process engineering teams as required.
* Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Assist with the installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production targets.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and process improvements.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a production engineering or maintenance role, ideally within the FMCG sector.
* Strong electrical skills and the ability to carry out electrical duties safely and effectively.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexible and proactive approach to work.
