Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Author / Analyst to support the New Product Introduction team. This role is critical in enhancing operational efficiency by streamlining administrative tasks and ensuring accurate, timely reporting.
You will be responsible for producing Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Reports, enabling engineers to focus on test and measurement activities. Additionally, you will help maintain up-to-date Verification and Validation Reports, Test Procedures, and Test Plans for every product in our catalogue. For added value, you will also contribute to manual creation and documentation.
Key Objectives
* Enhance operational efficiency through the dedicated delivery of FAT reports.
* Improve the quality and speed of FAT reporting.
* Assist management by producing technical reports.
* Improve communication and coordination within engineering and manufacturing teams.
* Support manual creation and documentation.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has an interest in technology, with strong writing and documentation skills.
* Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
* Is proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
Fixed-Term Contract: This role is offered on a 12-month basis (ideally starting in January 2026)
Hours: 30 hours per week, to be worked over 4 or 5 days.
Location: This role requires you to work on-site at our modern manufacturing facility outside Hereford. Before applying, please make sure you can commute to Coldwell Radio Station, Madley, Herefordshire, HR2 9NE. Hybrid working is available for this role.
