Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Maths Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) Maths remotely using video conferencing tools, ensuring that lessons are interactive, well-paced, and aligned with the National Curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver KS3 Maths lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum
* Plan and prepare high-quality, engaging, and structured online lessons
* Use a smart tablet and digital pen effectively for live teaching and demonstrations
* Track student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs
* Maintain a professional and enthusiastic presence during video sessions
* Communicate effectively with students and parents
* Use MS Office tools to support lesson planning and reporting
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Proven experience teaching KS3 Maths
* Experience teaching via online platforms or video conferencing tools
* Own a smart tablet with digital pen, plus a reliable PC or laptop
* Stable, high-speed internet connection
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to inspire and motivate students in a virtual learning environment
