These roles are offered on a freelance basis. Successful candidates will be responsible for their own Tax and NI contributions.

Aberdeen, with some remote working possible in May
* Producing Assistant – providing creative, administrative and live event support to our producing team across the festival fortnight
* Marketing Assistant – working with our marketing team on the promotion, documenting and evaluation of Light the Blue across the festival fortnight
The overall responsibility of the Festival Assistants is to support the Aberdeen Performing Arts team across key delivery areas in the immediate lead-up to and during Light the Blue 2025.
Duties may include (but will not be limited to):
* Assisting with artist liaison tasks, ensuring participants and performers are looked after when on site;
* Liaising with and supporting marketing, technical, operations, front of house and other teams in the set-up of key events;
* Assisting with the practical delivery of events, engaging with artists, audiences, relevant departments and supporting where required;
* Contributing to planning and briefing meetings;
* Contributing to the evaluation of the festival;
* Any other marketing tasks as appropriate;
* Work with the festival team to deliver a successful Light the Blue 2025.

Experience in arts management, event management, festival administration, coordination, marketing, youth arts, and arts participation is desirable.
