We’re looking for an Bid Manager to manage the end-to-end tender process, from qualification through to submission and feedback. Main Purpose of the Role Manage the end-to-end tender process, from qualification through to submission and feedback. Write compelling, tailored bid responses for a wide range of business audiences, marketing services and industry sectors. Ensure bid & marketing library and resources are up to date and accessible. Lead, coach, and support SMEs and cross-functional teams. Support continuous improvement within the bid function. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Bid Management Oversee the entire bid process, ensuring all responses are delivered on time and to agreed standards, using best practice bid management tools, and our Standard Operating Procedure. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality bids. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Use AI to improve the speed and quality of responses and to automate routine, repetitive tasks. Monitor incoming tender opportunities, triage and distribute enquiries, and respond promptly (within 24 hours). Ensure bid library content is regularly updated, catalogued and tagged. Obtain feedback on all tenders, wherever possible and feed key learnings into future bid responses. Bid Writing & Content Development Identify key win themes with sales leads and articulate these clearly in responses. Write, proofread, and edit content with input from subject matter experts. Research relevant sectors to supply tailored content for tender responses. Ensure quality controls are adhered to for all bid responses. Reporting & Analytics Produce monthly reporting on bid activity and results. Use analytics to inform best practice and improve future activities. Market Research & Planning Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Linney’s key propositions, market trends, and competitor developments. Keep up to date on AI and how best to apply it, informing the business of potential new uses and systems Keep abreast of public sector procurement legislation and advise the business as necessary. Essential Skills & Experience Well organised and flexible, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Outstanding writing, editing and proofing skills. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams. Creative and innovative thinking. Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Familiar with the use of AI in bids. Good commercial awareness. Desirable Skills & Experience Degree or professional qualification. APMP qualification. Knowledge of marketing and the marketing services sector.
