IT Support Engineer

Job Profile: The role is suitable for skilled IT support engineers with at least 1 year of proven experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. Candidates should have a customer-focused approach, commitment to service delivery, and strong problem-solving skills. Candidates must be based within commuting distance of Hemel Hempstead and be willing to travel to client sites weekly.
Skills and Experience:
* Active Directory and Group Policy administration, Windows Server 2008 and above
* Windows Server and Desktop operating systems
* Windows Desktop 7 and above
* Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 Administration
* System build, deployment, and maintenance
* Networking technologies (Routers, Switches)
* Networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Email, etc.)
* At least 2 years of experience as a Service Engineer or similar role within IT support
* Recognized certifications (MCPs, CompTIA)
* Foundation Certificate in ITIL
* VoIP knowledge, preferably Gamma
* Experience with SharePoint Online
* Exposure to Meraki, Cisco, and Draytek switch, router, and wireless infrastructure
* Knowledge of monitoring, antivirus, and backup technologies
* Support for Apple products
* Knowledge of desktop imaging software/services
