Job Responsibilities
We are recruiting up to four Field Service Engineers with experience in Endoscopy and/or Sterile Services Departments to support both new and existing service contracts, primarily across the South of England, including London, Greater London, South East, being very regionalised.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installation and commissioning of decontamination equipment.
* Planned and reactive maintenance of Sterilisers, Washer Disinfectors, and other equipment used in Endoscopy and/or SSD environments.
* Delivering technical support and troubleshooting to ensure smooth-running of equipment at customer sites.
* Managing service requests effectively to minimise equipment downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
While full training is provided, priority will be given to candidates with relevant industry experience and qualifications. Those without direct experience but with a strong interest in starting a career in decontamination field services are also encouraged to apply. A structured training programme is available for career changers.
Person Specification
* Technical proficiency: Ability to diagnose and resolve problems on complex electromechanical equipment.
* Industry experience: Preferably in healthcare decontamination, or another regulated industry.
* Qualifications: Relevant technical or industry certifications.
* Communication skills: Clear, professional, and customer focused.
* Team player: Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in approach.
* Organisational ability: Able to multitask and prioritise based on customer and business needs.
* Analytical mindset: Strong troubleshooting ability with attention to detail.
* Experience within the medical device industry is advantageous.
Package
* Base Salary: £38,000 – £44,000 (depending on experience)
* Bonus: £2,000 per annum
* Vehicle: Choice of a VW Tiguan or £7,200 annual car allowance
* Overtime: Available and encouraged for additional earnings
