National Account Manager - FMCG (General Merchandise) £40,000 - £50,000 - Company Car - Bonus I'm supporting a growing, privately-owned GM business that has established itself as a trusted supplier to leading UK retailers. With a strong track record in branded and own-label products across, they are now looking for a driven National Account Manager to join their team and support ambitious growth plans. The Role Manage a portfolio of major UK retail and grocery accounts - including working closely with customers such as Sainsbury's, Morrisons, and B&M. Take ownership of customer P&Ls, terms, and JBP negotiations alongside the Sales Director. Deliver range reviews, data-led recommendations and successful new product launches. Work cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing and product development to ensure best-in-class execution. Support end-to-end product lifecycle management, from development through to instore and promotional delivery. Identify and convert new business opportunities within both existing and new accounts. What We're Looking For Experience in national account management within GM categories. Proven ability to work with UK grocers or discounters - ideally with Sainsbury's, Morrisons, B&M or similar. Strong commercial skills - P&L management, JBP negotiations, and driving category performance. Understanding of importing/FOB processes; manufacturer-side exposure a bonus. Motivated, resilient, detail-oriented, and confident in building strong relationships.
