Stylist Location: Paris Dress House, Metrocentre
Reports to: Store Manager. Paris Dress House is the North East’s leading prom and occasionwear boutique. We pride ourselves on creating unforgettable shopping experiences for every customer – combining luxury gowns with genuine, supportive styling.
We are now looking for a Stylist to join our growing team.
About the Role
As a Stylist, you’ll be at the heart of the customer journey, welcoming clients & their family, guiding them through their appointment, and helping them find their dream dress. You’ll also contribute to our digital presence, ensuring our boutique shines both in-store and online.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver an exceptional, high-energy & enthusiastic styling experience for every customer.
* Build genuine rapport with clients, offering personalised advice on dress codes, colours, and styles.
* Use strong product knowledge and memory skills to support fittings and introduce options that reflect the clients wants and suitability.
* Contribute to Paris Dress House’s social media presence by generating engaging content of yourself and the team alongside the Communications Manager.
* Confidently appear in photos and short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.
* Support daily boutique operations: welcoming customers, managing fitting rooms, sales processing, and ensuring store standards are immaculate.
* Carry out gentle needlework, such as minor repairs or adjustments, where required.
* Handle computer-based systems quickly and accurately, including booking systems and sales software.
* Work collaboratively with the wider team, embodying our culture of positivity, inclusivity and kindness.
* Aged 18+
* Previous retail or customer service experience
* Must live locally and be able to travel to and from the boutique reliably
* Confident with social media (Instagram, TikTok etc.)
* Tech-savvy with fast and accurate computer and typing skills
* Outgoing, friendly, and supportive with excellent communication skills
* Strong memory skills for product knowledge
* Flexible and proactive attitude to boutique life
* Must be available during peak trading hours: evenings (5–9pm weekdays), all weekends, and school holidays
* Interest in fashion and styling
* Gentle needlework and minor garment repairs
* Experience in fashion retail, styling or occasionwear
