Duties: The role involves working with an 11-year-old girl who has cerebral palsy and sensory processing challenges including sensitivity to smells and noise. She uses both a walking stick and a wheelchair and enjoys a variety of interests including horse riding, dog therapy, swimming, quizzes, going out for lunch, and shopping trips into town. * Accompanying and supporting the young lady at horse riding and swimming lessons. * Attending medical appointments and supporting rehabilitation activities. * Supporting school attendance. * Engaging in social activities with family and friends. * Taking trips to the cinema, shops, restaurants, and other local outings. * Assisting with personal care routines as required. * Encouraging independence and self-care where possible. * Performing physiotherapy exercises under guidance. * Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks. * Supporting general household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and changing linen * Other light domestic chores as requested Criteria: * Female applicants only due to the personal nature of the role. * Aged 25 or over. * Full UK driving License. * NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). * Experience working with young people with complex conditions. * Ability to swim. * Strong communication skills and good at building positive relationships. * Respectful of confidentiality and professional boundaries. * Knowledge of equestrianism or willingness to learn. * Comfortable around dogs and other pets. * Patient, fun, and with a good sense of humour. * Able to work independently and adapt to varying routines.
