Summary
We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our refurbishment projects by ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials, people, operatives and equipment, contributing directly to our mission of delivering exceptional service. This role would suit a semi retired individual who can be available at short notice.
Responsibilities
* Operate company vehicles to transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
* Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
* Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
* Provide support in the warehouse when necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
* Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
* Qualifications
* Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
* Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery driving.
* Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle maintenance is preferred.
* Strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
* Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
