Overview
The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting the Brand in driving sales turnover and market share by remaining consumer focused. This role is part time, 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
* Reflect a credible and professional Brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times
* Maximise sales through selling, providing excellent service and retail standards
* Contribute to efficiencies by adhering to store/Brand/Company Procedures and guidelines
* Understand daily/weekly targets
* Be aware of all additional sales avenues such as events, Omni and digital channels
* Stay up to date with competitor activities and missed opportunities
* Utilise social media opportunities to drive the business and protect/enhance the Brand image
* Deliver the Brand Strategy and an effective local plan
* Plan and implement local marketing and events initiatives aligned to Retailer activity
* Execute exceptional service, maintain high standards, and foster a zero-complaints mindset with a surprise and delight culture
* Be an Ambassador for the Brand and ensure Brand values are represented
* Handle refunds and complaints in line with Company guidelines; inform the Area Manager where appropriate
* Use digital tools to keep product knowledge up to date
* Deliver a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to grow a loyal consumer base
* Develop up-to-date product knowledge to deliver an industry-leading experience
* Ensure excellent standards in product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, and pricing
* Review retail standards daily to maintain required levels
* Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and related administration are completed within Company timeframes
* Complete auditable processes and administration per Company guidelines and take corrective action as needed
* Fulfil information requests accurately within deadlines
* Minimise stock loss by following Company Security Policies and Procedures
* Create and maintain a safe working environment compliant with Company and Retailer Policies
* Maintain health and safety responsibilities and achieve an overall audit grade of at least Acceptable
Commerciality
* Manage daily replenishment and take appropriate action
* Use commercial reports to inform decisions and maximise performance
* Plan and deliver visual merchandising layouts to guidelines and timelines
* Identify stock issues and take corrective action, informing the Area Manager when out of direct control
* Manage promotions and discounts in line with Company guidelines
* Identify trends and suggest actions to enhance product performance
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment
* Ability to drive self-development
* Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry
* Effective communication, organisation and prioritisation skills
* Proof of right to live and work in the country
