Why are we hiring a Senior Research Scientist?
As our products continue to grow and evolve, we are hiring a Senior Research Scientist!
The Senior Research Scientist is responsible for conducting research and development activities associated with new and expanded solutions and applications of the In Silico & Data Insights product suite with a focus on the Leadscope product.
This role includes the management of or collaboration in working groups addressing scientific issues related to the acceptance and implementation of in silico solutions, including regulatory solutions.
What are you responsible for?
• Demonstrate thought leadership in the field of computational toxicology
• Develop innovative computational approaches to model toxicological endpoints
• Develop computational models for the prediction of toxicological endpoints
• Lead or participate in research collaborations to address industry challenges (regulatory or otherwise)
• Publish and present research, manage publication process
• Collaborate with colleagues and partners to develop new solutions or update existing solutions for the product suite
• Provide consultative support for professional services deployment, if needed
• Support sales and marketing with technical pre-sales and the development of marketing material
• Adherence to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
• Ph.D. and publications in toxicology, computational toxicology, or related discipline
• Possess an understanding of present and emerging regulatory needs and can respond quickly to deliver solutions to meet those needs
• In depth knowledge of structure activity relationships within their domain of expertise. Ability to acquire expertise in additional domains as needed
• Knowledge of chemical mechanisms of action and toxicological pathways (including SARs, and AOPs)
• Experience using and developing cheminformatics approaches
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements for computational approaches
• Experience in theoretical and empirical research and answering questions with research.
