Re-Eng is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Data Analyst / Input Technician to join the dynamic team. Job Overview:
Job Costing & Budgeting
* Calculate and allocate costs for engineering projects, including labour, materials, and overheads.
* Review and verify cost estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Maintain and update job costing records within the costing software.
* Assist with preparing project budgets and monitor spend against forecast, highlighting any variances.
Billing & Invoicing
* Generate and process invoices for completed jobs and internal departmental transfers.
* Ensure all billing is completed accurately and within company deadlines.
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to billing or cost allocation.
Employee Hours Allocation
* Collect and review weekly timesheets from engineering employees.
* allocate employee hours to appropriate projects and departments based on job requirements.
* Monitor labour cost accuracy and report any inconsistencies.
Health & Safety / Compliance Support
* Liaise with the Engineering Manager and H&S team to ensure project records align with health and safety requirements.
* Assist in maintaining compliance records and providing cost data for H&S initiatives.
* Support HR and H&S reporting requirements as directed by the Engineering Manager

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team;
* Good English communication skills both verbal & written
* Computer literate and proficient in use of Microsoft Office package
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable in line with company requirements.
