The Bay Horse is a community pub in the centre of the very pretty Catterick Village, overlooking the green and stream. The pub is well presented and features a cobbled patio area to the front and then has a small central bar inside. This feeds the lounge, bar area and snug. There is also a small meeting room at the top end of the pub next to the kitchen, which has a moveable pool table and dart board for larger gatherings and events.
The Bay Horse has a fantastic local and digital reputation, it was recently refurbished and is only pub in the village. It is popular with locals from the area, soldiers and families from the Garrison and tourists travelling up the A1 looking for a great spot to stop for food rather than a motorway services. The pub is averaging around £8,000 a week with lots of opportunity for growth with the Marston's community menu and more reasons to visit. The pub would suit an operator(s) with food experience.
