Job Summary The Commercial Executive plays a central role within the Commercial Team, supporting the smooth running of all revenue-driven processes that underpin business growth and client satisfaction. Working closely with marketing, sales and operations, the role takes ownership of all sales pipelines using HubSpot as the primary CRM to ensure every opportunity is logged and processed through the sales team and converted into proposals and eventually orders The Commercial Executive ensures that no opportunity is missed, that proposals and reports are delivered promptly and to a high standard, and that all commercial data is accurate and accessible. The role supports the continual improvement of commercial processes and plays a key part in enhancing client experience through efficient, responsive and professional operations. This individual will be driven to improve the process to deliver better efficiencies and coordinating and supporting the technical teams to meet proposal and presentational deadlines. The Commercial Executive will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to strengthen client engagement throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle. This includes distributing sales enablement materials at key stages of the nurturing and onboarding pipeline, ensuring clients receive relevant case studies, sector insights and thought leadership content at the right time. The role will also manage the timely dispatch of client satisfaction surveys as projects near completion, supporting continuous improvement and reinforcing Projective’s commitment to exceptional client experience. Qualifications and Experience Previous experience in a commercial operations, sales administration, or business support role (engineering or professional services experience desirable) Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail Experience using CRM systems (HubSpot experience preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong understanding of sales pipeline management and reporting Interest in process improvement, digitalisation, and data accuracy Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Travel Requirements This role is based at our UK headquarters in Fleet, Hampshire, with limited hybrid working (typically four days per week in the office). Occasional travel to client sites or other Projective offices may be required. Applicants must have existing eligibility to work in the UK.
