The Spirit Vaults is a brewpub & restaurant in the small market town of Melbourne, serving a seasonal menu including classic pub food as well as high quality fine dining dishes.
We are looking for a reliable, competent and enthusiastic individual with a great work ethic and a real passion for the industry.
Responsibilities include:
* supporting the Head Chef / Sous Chef in the overall running of the kitchen
* working to ensure 5 star food hygiene standards are met
* keeping daily inspection records
* Participate in food production and preparation tasks as needed
The ideal candidate should be:
* able to communicate well with colleagues and keep calm during busy periods
* have pride in their work and ensure every meal meets the required standards
* able to accommodate flexible working hours which would include weekends
* Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality role preferred
