Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards at Gyle Shopping Centre and be proactive in addressing issues in the car park, service areas, and walkways.
* Assist customers and retailers when required.
* Assist in emergency situations.
* Retrieve trolleys from the car park and transfer them to trolley bays.
* Keep trolley bays clean and free from rubbish.
* Attend to external duties and other reasonable tasks within the car park and other areas as directed by ABM supervisors and managers.
* Be flexible and responsive to changing daily priorities and requirements.
* Be knowledgeable of all trolley and collection related tasks to support current scheduled activity at shift start without the need for specific direction.
Required Skills and Experience
* Sound communications skills.
* Clean driving licence – non essential.
* Demonstrate initiative in the absence of supervision and accept responsibility.
* Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes and other compliance policies.
* Execute duties in a manner that minimises incidents and accidents within the department.
* The staff member must be available throughout the duration of the designated shift.
