The North Wales Victim Help Centre is looking for an Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworker (ISAC) to join our team in North Wales, working 22.5 hours a week over 3 days. This role involves both face-to-face and virtual support in a hybrid working model, with work from home and our St Asaph office.

About the role:

This role is based in St Asaph, working 22.5 hours a week over 3 days. It involves both face-to-face and virtual support in a hybrid working model, with work from home and the office.

Responsibilities include providing individual structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments of impact and risk, within VS’s Service Model framework. You may make initial contact with victims of crime, explain our services, and assess the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues to provide ongoing support and case management.

As an Independent Stalking Advocacy Caseworker, you will be:

* Providing high-quality proactive services to victims of intimate and/or non-intimate stalking.
* Contributing to increased awareness of stalking's impact on clients, including collaboration with external agencies and developing safety and support plans tailored to client needs.
* Developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support, including providing resources, interventions, and information.
* Supporting clients in understanding and asserting their rights and entitlements.
* Guiding clients through the criminal justice and legal systems, including the Victims Code of Practice.
* Facilitating access to additional services.
* Helping establish healthy coping mechanisms.
* Providing practical support and information.
