The role
Were looking for a skilled Inspection / CMM Programmer to join our quality team, working on high-performance components including products within our F1 range. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, quality, and documentation throughout the inspection process.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general inspection duties as directed by the Principal Inspector and as detailed on Product Inspection Requests (PIRs)
- Verify supplier ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports), including dimensional, material, or process-related checks
- Liaise with Engineering, SQA, and Quality teams to resolve product or supplier issues
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to create ISIR documentation
- Use hand measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and shadowgraphs
- Program CMM machines (Calypso or PC-DMIS software preferred) for F1 product inspections
- Support the use of 3D scanning and surface finish equipment (experience desirable but not essential)
- Maintain accurate and timely inspection records and documentation
