In this role you will support the worldwide storage sales organisation by helping to coordinate key programmes, manage operational activities, and contribute to strategic business initiatives across a global sales environment. Responsibilities
* Support hands‑on execution of priority worldwide storage sales initiatives, gaining exposure across multiple geographies
* Assist with documenting progress, outcomes, and key follow‑ups for business‑critical initiatives
* Provide operational and analytical support to key worldwide storage sales teams
* Help maintain and update key sales enablement materials and shared resources
* Support HPE Storage Sales participation in strategic events, including HPE Discover, with a focus on planning, readiness, coordination, and follow‑up
* Assist leaders with execution‑focused tasks related to initiatives and events, gaining exposure to leadership priorities and decision‑making
* Monitor and track key customer and partner engagement activity, helping to identify follow‑up actions and surface opportunities for engagement
* Capture and organise business win stories, field insights, and programme updates to support visibility, alignment, and best‑practice sharing across the organisation
* Work closely with stakeholders across teams and geographies, helping ensure strong communication, coordination, and execution
* You will be continually supported in developing your skills and expertise
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
Qualifications
* Potential interns must be in their 2nd year of a four‑year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one‑year industrial placement, and are expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 grade
* Early professional experience and transferrable skills through part‑time roles, or university projects
* You must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2026 for 13 months
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and priorities effectively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear updates and work confidently with different stakeholders
* High attention to detail and a structured approach to tracking actions, maintaining information, and supporting programme delivery
* A clear interest in programme management, business operations, and the technology industry
* A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently when needed
* Good analytical and reporting skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across teams, functions, and geographies
