Job Title: Principal Power Systems Electrical Engineer

What you’ll be doing:
1. Conduct load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of electrical power systems.
2. Manage and analyze the electrical load budget.
3. Develop and validate electrical models.
4. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on power system matters.
5. Prepare technical reports, calculations, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations.
6. Develop and mentor other team members.
Your skills and experiences:
1. Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
2. Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
3. Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions.
4. Experience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysis.
5. Understanding of power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB).

The Electrical Verification Team:
As part of the Electrical Verification Team, you will verify and validate the power system, conduct analysis, and perform calculations to support the maturity and design of the electrical platform. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to eligibility.
