Nursery Room Leader (Level 3) – £13.20 per hour – Permanent
This role is based in a converted house set within a quiet woodland area, with dedicated rooms and direct access to outdoor space.
This role is perfect for an experienced Early Years Practitioner or Room Leader who is confident leading a room day to day. You will be confident making routine decisions, organising staff and activities, and maintaining standards without close supervision.
Before You Apply
* This role requires recent experience working as a Room Leader or senior practitioner within an early years setting.
* A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) is essential.
* This position is not suitable for candidates without leadership responsibility at room level.

What You’ll Need
* Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher
* Recent experience as a Room Leader or senior practitioner
* Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
* Confidence managing routines, staff deployment, and room planning
What You’ll Do
* Lead the day-to-day running of your designated nursery room
* Plan and oversee age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
* Maintain safeguarding, welfare, and ratio requirements
* Guide and support practitioners within the room
* Communicate effectively with parents and senior staff
* Monitor observations, learning journals, and room standards
