We are expanding our Business Group and seeking an experienced attorney to join our widely recognized and respected Commercial Real Estate Team in Virginia Beach. This attorney does not need a book of business and will be stepping into a well‑run, busy transactional practice!
Responsibilities
* Represent developers, lenders, landlords, and community associations.
* Handle commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, purchase, financing, and leasing.
* Assist with community association formation, registration, governance, and compliance for residential, commercial, and mixed‑use condominiums.
* Review, analyze, negotiate, and draft agreements, deeds, loan documents, leases, declarations, and covenants.
* Manage others to ensure timely closings and meet milestones.
Qualifications
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Active bar membership in Virginia.
* 6+ years of relevant legal experience.
* Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law, real estate, and related areas.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
