Job type: Permanent

At CWW Mind, our people are our greatest strength. We’re committed to professional growth and wellbeing, offering supportive management, coaching, and mentoring to help every team member reach their potential. Thriving through collaboration is at the heart of what we do, supporting individuals on their recovery journey through championing strong partnerships, combining skills, training, and development to deliver inclusive, compassionate, and high-quality mental health support.

Apply Now If You:

* Are driven by a commitment to supporting others to thrive
* Want to shape high-quality, compassionate services that make a real impact
* Can work flexibly in a dynamic environment – bringing confident leadership and management experience to support staff in delivering a range of therapeutic mental health and wellbeing services

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Service Manager to join CWW Mind and lead our Coventry Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT) Talking Therapies contracted service delivery – a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality, evidence based mental health support across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

As part of the CWW Mind, CWPT Talking Therapies contract, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of CWW Mind’s core service areas, leading dedicated teams of diverse professionals to deliver key elements of the service, in partnership with CWPT.

With the support of two dedicated, experienced CWW Mind Team Leaders, this will include oversight of the CWPT Talking Therapies Referral Centre (TaRC) – a centralised referral hub for individuals across all localities seeking access to Coventry and Warwickshire’s Talking Therapies services – as well as a fixed number of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), both qualified and in training.

About the service

TaRC Client Referral Advisors are the first point of contact and the vital link between clients and therapy services. Their role is pivotal in making sure each person’s journey from referral to assessment is handled with compassion, efficiency, safety, and empathy. It involves managing a high volume of referrals each week, ensuring every individual’s journey from first contact to assessment is smooth, timely, and compassionate.

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), both trainee and qualified, deliver evidence-based therapy to people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, and low mood.

Our PWPs receive ongoing management support throughout their training and supervision pathway until they achieve full qualification. Once qualified, they continue to develop their skills and experience, working closely with NHS colleagues within the stepped care model to ensure that anyone requiring more intensive support is appropriately referred to the next step of the care model.

Partnership Working

You will foster close working relationships with the CWPT Talking Therapies’ wider management team, contributing fully to the development and coordination of ethically sound, evidence-based therapeutic services delivered within the primary care mental health provision. This includes leading and supporting your team to collaborate closely with the wider Talking Therapies clinical and management teams, to address urgent queries, promptly escalating clinical or safeguarding concerns for individuals in distress, while ensuring all information remains accurate and confidential. By maintaining strong communication and providing regular performance updates, you will help balance resources and uphold the high standards of the Talking Therapies service.

Key responsibilities

* Plan and deliver a robust process for interviewing, appointing, inducting, monitoring, ensuring all staff roles are relevant and aligned to the appropriate level of responsibility and impact
* Facilitate and participate in regular service development and operational meetings, to support the effective development of services within each locality
* Ensure that services comply with relevant legislation, policies, procedures and funding stream requirements e.g. Safeguarding, MH Capacity Act, GDPR and Health & Safety, to ensure that targets to meet requirements are set and achieved within services
* Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data on service-level referrals and outcomes, prepare reports, and use findings to evaluate and inform service effectiveness
* Recognised management qualification at Level 4 diploma
* Proven track record of line management/leadership
* Experience of delivering mental health support services
* Proven ability to work with a wide range of agencies/professional groups
* Access to a vehicle for travel across Coventry and Warwickshire
