Job Duties:
1. Planning and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 1 and 2 students
2. Assessing and evaluating student progress
3. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
4. Collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student development
5. Participating in staff meetings and professional development sessions
Required Qualifications:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum
8. Strong communication and organisational skills
9. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Key Stage 1 and 2
Knowledge and Skills:
10. Understanding of child development and learning theories
11. Proficiency in using educational technology
12. Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Postgraduate certificate in Education
14. Experience working in a multicultural school environment
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting with regular school hours and term-time schedules. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for school events or meetings.
