Supportive, collaborative environment with career development opportunitiesA leading organisation is seeking a meticulous and proactive Insights Analyst to join their Operations function. This role is ideal for someone with strong reporting skills, excellent analytical capability and the confidence to communicate insights to internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will ensure consistent and efficient delivery of reports while identifying data‑driven opportunities and improvements.
This position is based in Chichester, with hybrid working available once probation is successfully completed.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis
Review data at sector level to extract insights across customer portfolios.
Collaborate with analysts to support operational goals such as cost savings and data quality improvements.
Provide oversight and understanding of internal processes relating to trade effluent management.
Reporting
Produce all contractual customer reports in line with SLAs, including budgets, accruals, consumption, spend analysis, margin insights and meter/leak reporting.
Create and maintain clear, accurate reporting in the required branded formats.
Deliver ad hoc internal and customer reporting when required.
Support the development and maintenance of system‑based reports and dashboards.
Help ensure data is consistently well‑maintained for smooth reporting operations.
Contribute to prospect reporting and collaborate with communications colleagues to make insights available when needed.
Communications
Manage incoming emails and calls professionally and within SLA timescales.
Engage regularly with the Account Management Team to support customer outcomes.
Identify action points from reports and meetings, ensuring follow‑through and timely communication.
Report on progress, successes and risks to senior analysts and Operations leadership.
Work alongside Digital Systems colleagues to ensure reporting tools are efficient and user‑friendly.
Support internal teams in building customer metrics and internal reporting frameworks.
Foster effective communication across the wider Operations Team.
Projects
Provide reporting and data insights to support project teams across the business.
Contribute to reporting activity during the onboarding of new customers.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Strong reporting/BI/data insight capability
Ability to communicate complex information to non‑technical audiences
A forensic, detail‑orientated approach to analysing data
High levels of accuracy and problem‑solving ability
Confidence working with processes and data management workflows
Proficiency in Looker, Excel and related reporting tools
