COME AND JOIN US. .. We are currently seeking a focused, articulate with great attention to detail Food & Beverage Cost Controller who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our Finance team. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Preparing and distributing daily revenue and cost reports to our business, swiftly and adeptly highlighting any potential issues, working together to resolve Reconciling daily, weekly and monthly for revenue and costs for our business partners Expertly maintaining the F&B Point of Sale system Participating in stock taking for the main cellar and outlets when required; preparing stock variance analysis for beverage, proactively supporting our teams in resolving any variance issues Managing the closure of the month end accounts pertaining to all F&B outlets, including interrogation of account codes to provide analyses to the teams Assisting our Purchase Ledger department with all supplier invoice queries relating to F&B Supporting our Goods Received & Stores team to ensure all daily internal orders are accurately captured Ensure compliance with internal controls and company procedures Review current processes and look for efficiencies, making use of systems in place Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for: Ideally, you’ll already be in a similar role within the hospitality industry You have impeccable attention to detail with a flair for accuracy; your ability to analyse data and prepare results to facilitate decision making is outstanding Supremely reliable, you like to ensure every job is completed to the highest standards consistently You have strong IT skills, and a great working knowledge of Oracle MICROS and/or Procure Wizard is a definite advantage Flexible, with the ability to react and prioritise to support our wider teams, you’re also enthusiastic, confident, and able to build relationships seamlessly internally and externally Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way What’s in it for you: Time to let your hair down 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) that increases with service Seasonal parties and local social events 50% discount on Food & Beverage, Country Pursuits, Spa and Hair Salon (Mon-Thurs) and the Golf Driving Range Golf Membership (with access to all 3 championship courses) for £50.00 per annum Treats in your pocket Flexi points into your Perkbox wallet to spend as you choose.
