Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting an Operations Administrator to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA).
The 330km Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) Project by Anglian Water is under construction and will be completed during AMP8. Beyond this, there are a further 260km of water transfer pipelines and associated infrastructure to be delivered in AMP8.
Location: Flexible/Hybrid work from Peterborough office and home.
What will you be doing as our new Operations Administrator?
Your responsibility will be to ensure operations are carried out to control costs, minimize future liabilities, maintain quality standards, and ensure full compliance with the Alliance and Anglian Water governance procedures.
You will be accountable to the Programme Commercial/Finance Manager for providing commercial and financial support between Partner Organisations and the SPA Delivery Team, working as part of an integrated team, providing commercial challenge, and recommending actions to achieve a high level of assurance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Running timesheet extracts from the Timesheet System and uploading into SAP.
2. Managing error reports, rate changes, unapproved resources, incorrect hours, etc.
3. Running missing timesheet reports from SAP for your organization.
4. Liaising with AW Commercial Assurance for new approved resources.
5. Matching partner organization timesheet reports with SPA Timesheet reports.
6. Supporting the collation of the partner consolidated application process.
7. Running partner reports from the cost ledger split between Labour, Plant, Material, Subcontract.
8. Reviewing previous costs to date.
9. Updating governance ceilings within the CA.
10. Supporting the Partner Commercial Lead with any commercial/finance activities.
11. Ensuring proper records are kept and maintained for audits and cost assurance.
Skills, Experience, and Behaviours
This role may suit you if you have:
* A full UK driving license.
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., RIC, CIOB, ICE).
* Experience in managing costs/accounts and interrogating numbers confidently.
* Willingness to learn new skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
