Job Description:
A well-established, family-run food manufacturer based in the York area is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its small, dedicated technical team.
Please note, this role is over 4 days and permanent weekend work Saturday-Tuesday, 7-4pm.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform analytical testing and quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished products
* Maintain accurate records and documentation
* Support process improvement and NPD activities
* Conduct hygiene monitoring and uphold lab safety/cleanliness standards
* Liaise with production, technical, and process teams to ensure quality expectations are met
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous lab or QA/QC experience, ideally within the food manufacturing sector
* Understanding of laboratory testing methods and food safety protocols
* A science-based qualification (degree, HND, A-levels) or equivalent experience
