We are looking 1 Full Time (4-5 shifts per week, approx 25hrs per week) Post Office Supervisor.
The shifts will be between Monday-Saturday, 8am-5.30pm.
Key Duties:
-Handle all cash and money transactions in an accurate and confidential way
-Listen to customer requests and queries and process them in a timely manner
-Work as part of a team, manage 2 part-time clerks, take care of rotas, holidays etc
-Maintain an accurate stock and cash balance at the end of each shift
-Prepare daily/weekly summary reports as required
-Balance shop cashier till floats and prepare daily cashier report
* Balance the Post Office on a weekly basis
-Carry out a range of post office services including:
-processing letters and parcels
-pension and benefits transactions
-banking and bill payments
-car tax and DVLA forms
-travel insurance and foreign currency
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
-Excellent customer service and the ability to go the extra mile for our customers
-A high degree of accuracy in your work
-The ability to work under pressure in a busy post office environment
-Previous experience in handling cash/financial transactions
-Honesty and integrity
Previous Post Office/Financial/Banking experience is essential
