You'll be joining a well-established local authority based in Clydebank, supporting a busy property maintenance team responsible for the upkeep of housing stock and public buildings across West Dunbartonshire. The organisation is known for its commitment to high-quality service delivery and providing safe, well-maintained environments for residents and staff.
Your new role
As a Maintenance Plumber, you'll carry out a range of planned and reactive plumbing works across domestic and commercial properties. You'll work as part of a multi-trade team, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.Key responsibilities include:
* General plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations
* Fault-finding and diagnosing issues within plumbing systems
* Hot and cold water system maintenance
* Bathroom and kitchen plumbing repairs
* Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards
* Providing excellent customer service to tenants and building users
What you'll need to succeed
* Time-served plumber with relevant SVQ/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
* Experience in maintenance or social housing environments
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Full UK driving licence
* A proactive, reliable, and customer-focused approach
