Anderson Knight is delighted to be supporting a leading financial services provider in the recruitment of a Customer Support Advisor to join their growing team in Finnieston.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in financial services, customer support, or regulated environments who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused role.


Location: Finnieston, Glasgow (Hybrid)

Salary: £23,000 (Pro rata)

Hours: 14 hours per week (Wednesday 5pm-8pm, Friday 4pm-8pm, Sunday 9am-5pm)


Key Responsibilities:

•\tProvide outstanding customer service across multiple communication channels.

•\tManage and process daily customer support tasks within agreed timelines.

•\tHandle direct debit collections, issue welcome packs, and send regulatory statements.

•\tAccurately update customer records and process settlement quotes in line with team KPIs.

•\tManage queries and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution in line with company procedures.

•\tComply with FCA regulations relating to early terminations, cancellations, and vehicle finance processes.

•\tMaintain detailed and accurate logs of all customer communications and actions taken.

•\tSubmit credit reference agency files and daily asset registration data to relevant parties.

•\tProtect customer data and ensure all activity aligns with GDPR requirements.

•\tSupport reporting and data tracking efforts to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement.


Requirements:

•\tMinimum 3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within financial services.

•\tSolid understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., Consumer Credit Act).

•\tAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

•\tStrong attention to detail and a solution-focused approach.

•\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills.

•\tA team player with a positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
