This is a term-time, part-time position with a salary that is pro-rata based on hours worked.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Start Club Assistant to help ensure that our pupils start their day positively and securely. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with pupils in the hall or playground, setting up and clearing the room, assisting with breakfast service, supporting pupils in developing independence, encouraging good behavior, and providing comfort for minor accidents or upsets. A warm, approachable manner and the ability to promote the school’s positive ethos are essential. Experience working with children and strong communication skills are required.
Requirements
This role is considered a regulated role under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020, and membership with the PVG scheme is required. Further details about the scheme are available here. Preferred applicants will need to join or update their PVG scheme membership prior to a formal offer from West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
