Position
Registered School Nurse to join the Fife Wide School Nursing Service.
Overview
You will work across Fife within a dynamic service of School Nurses, Community staff nurses, Nursery Nurses and Healthcare support workers in a variety of settings including Health Centres and Schools.
Responsibilities
* Support children and young people and their families.
* Provide awareness of contemporary school nursing services.
* Support and work with care experienced children and young people, including Child Protection processes.
Qualifications
* Completed Specialist Practitioner Qualification in School Nursing.
* Name on Part 3 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Register.
* Experience in supporting children and young people and their families.
* Awareness of contemporary school nursing services.
* Knowledge and experience of Child Protection processes, including support for care experienced children and young people.
* Member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
