I’m working exclusively with a well-regarded, independent consultancy that is expanding its Building Surveying team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered or Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) who’s ready to step into a broader role — combining high-quality technical delivery with team mentorship, client leadership, and strategic input.

The Role
As a key part of the Manchester office, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Leading and delivering building surveying instructions, with a focus on dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, and technical due diligence
2. Supporting the growth of the North West client base across sectors including industrial, office, retail, and independent living
3. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring service delivery aligns with the consultancy’s high standards and values
4. Mentoring and developing junior surveyors, helping shape a collaborative and high-performing team
5. Identifying and developing new business opportunities in line with your own network and experience
What They’re Looking For
6. MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor (Associate level or ready to step up)
7. Strong experience in delivering professional services, particularly dilapidations and technical due diligence
8. Confidence in managing key client relationships and acting with commercial awareness
9. A team player who’s proactive, organised and collaborative
