At the moment we are very lucky to have 4 full time excellent chef's; Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef de Partie & Commis Chef supported by a K.P.
As our business is still growing, Ideally we would like to find a 5th Chef, a Junior Sous Chef or an additional Chef de Partie. This would give us plenty of cover during Chefs holidays & would enable Chefs to take occasional weekends off & ensure that our chef's are working in an environment with as little stress as possible. We appreciate the need for a good work/life balance.
We are a family run independent pub with an excellent reputation for good food, accommodation & friendly service.
A calm, friendly personality is equally as important to us as your chef skills, we need to maintain our good working environment
Our food is all made from scratch, using as much local produce as we can. Our menu changes with the seasons. The chef that takes this positions needs to have high standards and take a pride in their work, to enable them to fit in with the team.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £25,500.00-£32,500.00 per year for a 45hr week, over 5 days a week. Plus generous share of the Tips. Any overtime paid pro-rata.
