Role: Project Engineer
Rate: £560 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Client: FTSE 100 FMCG
Location: Location flexible / remote, with occasional travel to Scotland (must be UK-based)
Duration: 12 months

This FTSE 100 leader is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to deliver cutting-edge automation and Operational Technology Infrastructure projects, across their worldwide manufacturing network.
Role:
1. Lead end-to-end capital projects from design to commissioning.
2. Drive improvements in operational technology infrastructure.
3. Deliver projects in Automation, Manufacturing Executions Systems (MES), packaging systems, and IT/OT integration.
4. Manage stakeholders, budgets, timelines, and external partners.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and cybersecurity standards.
Required:
6. 10+ years' experience in engineering and project management within FMCG, Manufacturing, or similar.
7. Strong technical background in MES, automation, packaging machinery, networking, and control systems.
8. Awareness of cybersecurity in manufacturing environments.
9. Skilled communicator able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
10. Degree in Engineering / Science and recognised project management certification.
