We are looking for 2 X Project Administrator posts.
* These are full-time, fixed-term posts until 31/3/27, working 37 hours per week.
* They are available on a job share basis for applicants wishing to work part-time.
* Initial interviews will be held on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th June. A second round of interviews is scheduled for Thursday 19th June if needed.
About the NCCPE
The National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) supports culture change in the UK higher education (HE) sector. We aim to build an inclusive higher education sector where communities can contribute to and benefit from knowledge, teaching, and research. Our work involves supporting excellent public engagement practices, creating conducive conditions for public engagement in universities, and building strong networks and partnerships to amplify our impact.
Funded by UK Research and Innovation, Research England, Wellcome, and other major bodies, the Centre is jointly hosted by the University of the West of England (UWE) and the University of Bristol (UoB). This role is being recruited through UWE.
Role Responsibilities
We are seeking two Project Administrators to help deliver our expanding portfolio of work. Responsibilities include supporting project managers in planning, actioning, and reporting, assisting in sector-wide engagement activities, supporting communications, and helping plan our NCCPE conference in Spring 2026. You may also support the development of training and other services for higher education providers.
About You
You should have broad administrative experience in an office environment, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work with staff at all levels and external partners. Good IT skills, including familiarity with platforms like Zoom and Teams, are essential. Additional skills in digital content creation, social media management, or video editing are advantageous.

The role is based at 4 Portwall Place, Bristol BS1 6NB.
