Shift Engineer (Multi-Skilled / Electrical Bias)
Salary: £50,000
A well-established and growing food manufacturing business is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Shift Pattern
* Week 1: Monday to Friday, 05:00 - 15:00
* Week 2: Monday to Friday, 16:00 - 02:00
The Role
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production equipment
* Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machinery performance and reliability
* Work collaboratively with production teams to minimise downtime
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
Requirements
* Multi-skilled engineer with strong electrical competencies
* Experience within a manufacturing or production environment (food industry desirable but not essential)
* Ability to fault find on a range of automated machinery
* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
