Role Overview
As Head of Maths, you will be responsible for leading the Key Stage 3 & 4 maths team, supporting colleagues in delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and promote strong mathematical understanding. You will play a key role in curriculum development, assessment planning, and ensuring high standards across the department.
Skills and Qualifications
* A good standard of education; ideally qualified or working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in mathematics at Key Stage 3 level.
* Effective communication skills with students and colleagues.
* Ability to motivate and support others within the team.
* Organisational skills to manage curriculum planning and departmental tasks efficiently.
