This is a unique chance to work alongside experienced scientists developing formulations and analytical methods that support early‑stage clinical trials. Nat 5 in Chemistry and English required.

🔬 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Modern Apprentice Technician, you’ll support our Formulation & Analytical Development teams by helping keep our labs running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. You’ll learn how to:
* Assist scientists preparing batches and conducting analytical work
* Perform daily lab checks and equipment calibration
* Maintain lab organisation, stock levels, and documentation
* Support key experimental activities (filling, labelling, buffers, mobile phase prep, etc.)
* Communicate with cross‑site teams including Logistics and Warehouse
* Follow quality and safety procedures aligned with industry standards
This role is hands‑on, varied, and ideal for someone excited by science or problem‑solving.
🎓 Training & Development
You will earn while you learn through a recognised Scottish apprenticeship provider (e.g., Glasgow Clyde College, City of Glasgow College, UWS), gaining a qualification in a science or laboratory subject.
You’ll also receive in‑house training on:
* General lab skills
* Analytical and formulation equipment
* COSHH and risk assessments
* Health, Safety & Quality systems
* Inventory management and ordering processes
By the end of the programme, you’ll be skilled, confident, and ready to consider a long‑term career in science or pharmaceuticals.
