Science TechnicianA well-regarded secondary school in Hounslow is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Science Technician to support its busy Science department from September.

Applicants with prior experience in a school or laboratory setting, strong practical science knowledge, and the confidence to support across multiple scientific disciplines may be considered for a higher rate of pay.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and organise equipment, chemicals, and materials for practical science sessionsMaintain laboratory spaces, ensuring equipment is safe, clean, and fully functionalAssist teaching staff during demonstrations and experimental workMonitor and manage stock control, including ordering and storing resourcesAdhere to all health and safety procedures within laboratory environments
RequirementsExperience working in a school or laboratory environment is desirableGood understanding of laboratory health and safety practicesFamiliarity with scientific equipment and experimental proceduresStrong organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics practical lessons
