SHIFT: 7am - 3pm (5 days, Monday - Sunday)
ROLE: MACHINE OPERATOR

Key Responsibilities:
* Complete daily paperwork with full traceability of the audit trail
* Ensure all orders are picked, packed ensuring FIFO and labelled correctly
* Quality control, staff compliance with company policies, procedure and process controls
* Ensure quality & date coding of the products packed are within specifications.
* Ensure safe and efficient pallet management and stocking within the chiller
* Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times
* Maintain cleanliness around all areas of the chilled operation and fresh produce packing areas
* Support other areas of the warehouse
* Pack orders for retailers
* Completion of records to BRC standards
* Record all batch codes and packaging - recording which code is used on the day for packing
* Clean work area or machine operating the area on every product change, machines to be cleaned at the end of the shift
* Maintain good housekeeping on every area including production
* Train new staff as per company standard
* Ensure all other customer pallets are labelled correctly before they go into the fridge
* Complete the daily task before each shift as requested
* Any machine damages or breakdown need to report directly to manger. For health and safety reasons, please do not fix it yourself
* Do not move any machinery unless requested by the manager
Person Specification:
· Good communication skills – both verbal and written
· Punctual
· Being able to forward plan to ensure effective and smooth workflow
· Good attention to detail
· Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Compensation details:
· Salary £12.50 per hour

Working Hours:
We are open 7 days a week and this role will involve you working 5 days a week on a 10am - 6pm shift.
Wholegood is based in a Warehouse in New Covent Garden Market, London.
